David BovaDavid Bova, a guitarist with true international flair, he has lived in Europe for 17 years where he received most of his education and musical experience.

During that time he played an active role in the theatrical production known as ERIS PLUVIA, a concept encompassing music, visual and performing arts. Upon his arrival in Sydney in 1988 he joined an array of bands, amongst those the notorious AUSTRALIAN QUEEN SHOW.

In 1998 he formed MEDICINE WHEEL with country/rock songwriter Luke O'Shea, which led to national recognition, including nomination for best group at the prestigious Golden Guitar Awards in 2003.

Dave has worked in the last few years in perfecting new compositions for acoustic/classical guitars resulting with the formation of the acoustic CALABRO WHEAR & BOVA GUITAR TRIO, a fiery, moody, flamenco music oriented group.

Lately going under the newly formed DAVE BOVA GUITAR TRIO with Shaun Reid and Dave Carr, Dave is conducting an exciting mix of traditional styles in a dynamic format for contemporary acoustic guitar."

Over the last 10 years, Dave has been seen supporting for Australian artists as diverse as the Atlantics, James Morrison, Marcia Hines, René Geyer, Martinez Brothers and Slava Grigoryan, both as a solo artist and with the guitar trio.
